Santa Fe 30th Anniversary
ESF-93 was a limited edition model which had been a pioneer of current Takamine’s Santa Fe series model that has designs featuring the Native American culture.
For pouring this image into the characteristic rosette inlays made by parts in a fan shape, the essential machine we had to try is a laser cutting technique.
At the same time, we had to introduce a CNC routing machine to create an unconventional ditch to fit the accurately laser crafted rosette parts into, unlike the old school circle cutting rosette hole which is grooved by a circle cutter.
Since 30 years ago, the daybreak to adopt the highly precise crafting machines in the world of acoustic guitar making, it was affected a big part in guitar designing later on. We would proudly ntroduce the latest guitar with these designings and technics as our brand new Santa Fe model LTD2023.
The general theme of “PEACE” is told by the symbols of “BROKEN ARROW” and “CROSS ARROW”, high-grade timbers to use for the body and decorations are the best design of this LTD2023 as refined Santa Fe.
Design
The symbols that Native American describes an appreciation and respect for nature and heart for family and peers and the precepts to live strong. “Broken Arrow” indicates the attitude of no fight and “Cross Arrows” indicates friendship, both of them embrace the prayer for peace.
CTF-2N
At the dawn of the production of Acoustic Electric Guitar, the so-called “Brownie” preamp that Takamine developed was supported by legendary famous American artists such as Ry Cooder, David Lindley, the Eagles, and Bruce Springsteen for its warm sound produced by the unique saturation effect of the FET amplification element and Takamine has became well-known guitar brand in the world until now.
This “CTF-2N” preamp, developed on the 60th anniversary of Takamine’s establishment last year, is based on the original “Brownie” sound with adding new modern functions such as detailed EQ adjustment, notch filter and tuning meter to be a new version of the Brownie preamp. “CTF-2N is receiving high praise on professional stages in Japan and the world already.
