John Jorgenson is a Grammy Award-winning artist and composer, and an Academy of Country Music “Guitarist of the Year” for three consecutive years 1990 - 1992. A pioneer of the U.S. Gypsy jazz movement, he leads the John Jorgenson Quintet and is best known for his guitar work with the Desert Rose Band and the Hellecasters. Jorgenson has also recorded and toured with artists including Elton John, the Byrds, Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris, Hank Williams Jr., Barbra Streisand, Luciano Pavarotti, Roy Orbison, Patty Loveless, Michael Nesmith and Bonnie Raitt.
Fellow Grammy Award-winning musician Brad Davis (known as “the Shredder” for his “double-down-up” guitar technique) has worked with Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Earl Scruggs, David Lee Roth, Emmylou Harris, Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash and many others. Davis has performed with or produced Marty Stuart, Earl Scruggs and Tommy Shaw (Styx). He has scored films for Billy Bob Thornton, and he scored the 1997 Steven Seagal film Fire Down Below. Davis has also written songs for Tim McGraw, Jo-El Sonnier, Tony Trischka, Thornton and Shaw. He received the “Texas Studio Musician of the Year” award in 2012.
